If your DAF vehicle isn’t responding or showing No Comms faults, the Engine ECU may be the issue. We offer repair, diagnostic and basic testing services for the DAF EDC (Electronic Diesel Control) unit, supporting commercial vehicles built between 2014 and 2017.

This unit, manufactured by Continental, is sealed, meaning only one side of the PCB can be tested, as the plug-set side is bonded into the case. Despite this limitation, we are able to carry out basic function checks, including:

• Physical inspection of the unit for visible damage

• Input, output, and continuity testing

• Identification and reporting of visible PCB faults

• Confirmation of basic functionality

Please note: As this is a sealed unit, some internal software issues may not be detectable or repairable through this process.
