1. Acceptance of Terms

By submitting a Body Control Module (BCM) for testing, repair, or replacement, or by purchasing related services or parts, the customer agrees to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. These terms apply to all services rendered by BCMRepair, including diagnostics, module repairs, reprogramming, and supply of BCM-related components.

2. Scope of Services

We provide services including but not limited to:

  • BCM diagnostics and fault evaluation

  • BCM hardware and software repairs

  • Crash data removal (if applicable)

  • Bench testing and functionality verification

  • Replacement units (if requested and available)

Note: We do not guarantee resolution of vehicle faults outside of the BCM system. Issues related to wiring, fuses, connectors, or other ECUs are outside the scope of our service.

3. Customer Responsibilities

You, the customer, agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information regarding the vehicle, fault symptoms, and history

  • Ensure that BCMs sent for repair are not water-damaged unless previously disclosed

  • Install and test the unit professionally upon return

  • Verify that other vehicle systems are functioning properly to avoid misdiagnosis

4. Repair Disclaimer

While we thoroughly bench-test all repaired BCMs, we cannot simulate in-vehicle conditions or external electrical faults. Therefore:

  • We do not guarantee the resolution of vehicle issues unrelated to the BCM

  • Faults that persist after reinstallation may be caused by unrelated wiring, ground faults, or system interactions

  • All repairs are final and irreversible once completed

5. No Refund Policy for Repairs

We do not issue refunds for BCM repairs, due to:

  • Irreversible nature of the repair process (e.g., soldering, software flashing)

  • Labour and technical effort involved in each repair

  • The possibility of unrelated vehicle faults causing perceived repair failure

6. Replacement BCM Units

Where replacements are provided:

  • It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure compatibility (VIN, coding, etc.)

  • A limited return window of 14 days applies for unused and uninstalled parts

  • Returned parts must be in original, undamaged condition and approved before refund

7. Warranty

We offer a limited warranty on repaired or replacement BCMs:

  • Duration: 3months

  • Coverage: Functionality of the repaired or replaced unit only

  • Exclusions: Water damage, accidental damage, improper installation, short circuits, or tampering

Warranty does not cover labour, diagnostic costs, shipping, or consequential vehicle damage.

8. Liability Limitation

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • [Your Company Name] is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

  • Our total liability is limited to the cost of the service or replacement part provided

  • We are not responsible for any data loss, downtime, or vehicle immobilisation caused by a faulty BCM or external systems

9. Vehicle or Module Abandonment

  • BCMs not collected or responded to within 30 days of completion will be considered abandoned

  • Abandoned units may be disposed of, and storage fees of £25/day may apply beyond the 7-day grace period

10. Data Protection

We collect and store customer and vehicle information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which complies with the UK GDPR. No personal data is sold or shared outside of service requirements.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the UK courts.

12. Amendments

We reserve the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updates will be published on our website and apply to all future services.
